Anastasios (Tassos) K. Papazafeiropoulos received his B.Sc. in Physics with rank 2 and got his M.Sc. in Electronics and Computer Science with rank 1 (distinction) from the University of Patras, Greece in 2003 and 2005, respectively. He received his Ph.D. at the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same university. After one year as a Research Fellow in IDCOM (Institute for Digital Communications) at the University of Edinburgh (UK), where he participated in two FP7 European projects (HIATUS and HARP), he is currently a Research Fellow at Imperial College London awarded with a Marie Curie fellowship (IEF-IAWICOM). Moreover, during 2012 he worked as a Research Engineer in the Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems & Automation, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics, University of Patras, contributing by means of his scientific point of view. Furthermore, he has collaborated with the Hellenic Open University and he has worked as a Lecturer at Hellenic Air Force, at the National Academy of Police Officers, at the Technical Educational Institute of Patras (TEI), at High school (part time), and at the Institute of Professional Expertise teaching various subjects such as mobile telephony, networks, and C++ programming. In addition, he has worked as research assistant at the laboratory of wireless communications in the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as at several other departments at the University of Patras.
